Prof. Lwy. Marco Marazza
FOUNDER
Born in Rome on May 26th, 1972, married with two children, Supreme Court lawyer.
After graduating, he became an academic pupil for Prof. Mattia Persiani and began his professional journey in the family firm founded by the lawyer Maurizio Marazza. Eventually, he became a partner in 2003.
As a consultant for both non-judicial and judicial matters for prominent national and international associations and industrial entities, his professional activity is characterized by the ability to balance a high degree of technical and scientific knowledge with a deep understanding of the internal and complex operational dynamics of a labour organization.
He is a Professor of Labour Law at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, where he is responsible for Medicine and Labour Law dept., and he currently is the director of the Master's program developed in synergy with the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery: Total Worker Health - the new dimensions of personal protection in the workplace.
Since 2013, he has been teaching Labour Law and Constitutional Justice of Labour at the Department of Law at LUISS. Former Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Studies Mercatorum University, where he also served as the President of the Certification Commission for employment contracts.
Previously, he was Professor at the University of Teramo, where, among other roles, he founded and directed the Legal Clinic of Labour Law.
Author of numerous essays on labour law and industrial relations, a manual on contemporary trade union law, published in 2022, and three monographs (an Essay on labour organization, Padua, 2002; The collective labour contract in the aftermath of the privatization of public employment, Padua, 2005; Employer insolvency and worker protections, Turin, 2015).
Co-director of the labour section of the www.giustiziacivile.com magazine and member of the scientific committee of, among others, the quarterly magazine Giustizia Civile. Promoter and director of the Scientific Committee of the Observatory on the Digitalization of Industrial Relations (ODRI).
In 2013, he participated in founding the labour law academic group "Freccia Rossa." Member of the scientific committee of the Italian Labour Law Association. Scientific coordinator and participant in numerous national and international research projects.
His academic path aims for constant openness to interdisciplinary approaches and is characterized by a dialogue with national and European jurisprudence.
He is a partner at Marazza & Associates Law Firm, where he provides specialized non-judicial consultancy and judicial assistance in labour law and industrial relations.
